This website works without tracking: no analytics, no advertising cookies, no social media plugins, no Google Fonts or third-party CDNs. Fonts and the map library are served from our own server. External content (videos, map, radio) is only loaded after you click.
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. Whenever a page is requested the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser/operating system (user agent) and HTTP status code. Purpose: delivery, stability and security of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The host acts as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR); log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
The connection is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
Only strictly necessary storage, or storage you explicitly request, is used (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG):
puzzell_lang_choice – your chosen language (12 months); puzzell_lang_bar_off – dismissed language hint (30 days).PHPSESSID – session cookie only on pages with forms and for the UNDERGROUND login (abuse/CSRF protection); deleted when you close the browser.pz_yt_ok / pz_map_ok (you enabled YouTube or the map), daily puzzle statistics in the relax zone, display settings (theme).ug_remember (stay signed in, 30 days) and briefly ug_oauth_state (security check, 10 minutes).You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser at any time.
If you write to me, I process your e-mail address and the content in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted when no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
When you sign up I store your e-mail address, language, the time and your consent. Purpose: information about new designs. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The sign-up is stored without a separate confirmation e-mail. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future – a short e-mail to contact@puzzelldrop.com is enough; your address will then be deleted.
For an idea submission I process your e-mail address, the text of the idea and the time, to review the idea and contact you with questions (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent via checkbox). Your e-mail address is never published. Deletion on request at any time.
If you register as an artist I process your name/artist name, e-mail, bio, images (artwork, avatar), links and social profiles, city and its coordinates and a message. After manual review your name, bio, images, links and location (city) are shown publicly on the map; your e-mail address never is. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), revocable at any time – the entry will then be removed.
To prevent abuse an irreversible hash of your IP address is stored for at most 24 hours.
The bio is automatically translated into six languages. For this the bio text (without e-mail address) is sent to Google’s Gemini API (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; possibly Google LLC, USA – transfer based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
When you type a city name, the search term is sent to the Nominatim geocoding service of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (Cambridge, United Kingdom; EU adequacy decision) to look up the coordinates.
Via the B2B form I process name, company, tax number (NIP), e-mail, phone, scope and message plus your consent in order to prepare an offer and a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The request is forwarded by e-mail to my mailbox (Hostinger; in case of failure via Google Gmail). An IP hash is stored for 24 hours to prevent abuse. Data from offers and invoices is kept for the statutory retention periods.
Signing in to UNDERGROUND is voluntary and uses Discord (Discord Inc., 444 De Haro Street #200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). I receive your Discord ID, display name, avatar and locale and store them for your profile (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Discord’s privacy policy applies to the sign-in at Discord. To delete your account e-mail contact@puzzelldrop.com.
Links to Redbubble, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Discord etc. are plain hyperlinks. Only when you click them do you leave this website; from then on the provider’s privacy policy applies. Purchases, payments and shipping are handled exclusively by Redbubble – I receive no customer or payment data.
Your data is never sold or passed on for advertising. Recipients are only the service providers named above. Data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose or required by law. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR). An informal e-mail to contact@puzzelldrop.com is enough.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the authority competent for me, the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte, Dresden).
